MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of this church shall be to manifest a diverse, open and affirming rainbow community of persons following Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior and Example.

As followers of Jesus, we proclaim the Gospel by word, sacrament, and service within the church, wider communities, and the world, ever striving to bring unity, truth, peace, and justice — God’s Shalom — to fruition.

We welcome everyone who wants to share God’s Love.

We are the Valley of the Flowers United Church of Christ – a community of people who believe in God and Jesus Christ.  We welcome you to join us in our congregation of kindness, a congregation committed to social justice and peace.  We are open and affirming, welcoming all individuals without regard to race, class, sexual orientation or gender.  Join us for worship and lunch afterwards!
